Impressions @gallery nine5 03/12 6:30-9pm Gallery nine5 presents a solo exhibition of recent works by Paris-based artist Agnès Pezeu. Pezeu works in a similar manner to the action painters of the 1940s. She traces charcoal outlines of models enacting various scenes before drizzling paint over the canvas to further delineate the silhouettes. These works demonstrate Pezeu's experimentation with a more vibrant tonal palette, and her increasingly diverse representation of the ephemeral. New York at a Glance | Openings |
