This exhibition of three hundred works will be the first comprehensive presentation of the Judith Rothschild Foundation Collection of Contemporary Drawings, a donation of approximately 2,500 works on paper that entered the museum’s collection in 2005. Assembled over just a few years and ranging from the 1930s to the present with a heavy focus on contemporary practice, the collection will provide a unique panorama on the state of drawing today. The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive publication.
