In the spirit of Marcel Duchamp and the readymade, members of the art world are invited to sign and donate an object at hand: tools from the studio, personally significant objects, or works of art. For example- Marilyn Minter is donating one of her skateboards that she has turned into a readymade. Patti Smith and friends will be performing, Alexandra Richards will be DJing, and Apotheke will be providing speciality cocktails based on the event. It should be a blast. Tickets will be $100 dollars and the proceeds from the silent auction will all go to Partners in Health in support of mental health initiatives in Haiti.
