With over 40 international established and emerging contemporary galleries from over 15 countries, SCOPE will present a full schedule of special events, performances and screenings, alongside museum-quality programming, creating what has become √¢‚Ǩ≈ìThe Hamptons Weekend of Art.√¢‚Ǩ¬ù

SCOPE is proud to present the first Collector Mentorship Auction during SCOPE Hamptons 08. FirstView Thursday | July 24 | 5-8pm Launch of SCOPEFoundation Collector Mentorship Auction

Benefiting from SCOPE’s √¢‚Ǩ≈ìArt Fair as Resource√¢‚Ǩ¬ù mandate, the Foundation’s silent auction features seasoned collectors Beth Rudin DeWoody, Melva Bucksbaum, Raymond Learsy, Eileen and Richard Ekstract, Adam Lindemann, Jed Walentas, Enrique Norten, Rick Wester, Dennis Oppenheim, Nancy Seltzer, Terrie Sultan, Kim Levin, Arnold Lehman and others, donating an hour of their time to mentor emerging collectors. Young collectors and members at MoMA, Whitney, The New Museum, The Parrish Museum, Guild Hall, Core Club and Soho House, as well as fashion, music and design trendmakers, will have the opportunity to mingle, have a cocktail, and bid on a collector of their choice. The private hour may be redeemed within one year of the auction and the setting is to be determined by the collector and the bidder; a tete a tete at the collectors favorite coffee shop, touring a museum or walking through an art fair. The Auction is designed to offer great networking opportunities and the possibility to bid on something priceless. For emerging collectors, participation in this philanthropic event will allow access to otherwise elusive information and experiences. Established collectors will lend a further hand in shaping and strengthening the art market in which they participate and invest. Complimentary cocktails and hors d√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢oeuvres will be served in the VIP lounge during the launch of the Auction on Thursday, July 24th from 5-8 during the exclusive SCOPE Hamptons FirstView.
